Brandon Britt scored 25 points and Quinn McDowell had 23 points to help William & Mary snap a seven-game losing streak with an 80-66 victory over Drexel on Saturday night.

The Tribe (5-12, 1-5 Colonial Athletic Association) shot 76.5 percent from the field (13 of 17) and 80 percent from the free-throw line (20 of 25) in the second half.

William & Mary used a 9-1 run in the second half to pull away from Drexel (11-5, 3-3), which entered leading the country in 3-point defense and the CAA in scoring defense and opponents' field goal percentage.

Tim Rusthoven scored four points and JohnMark Ludwick hit a 3-pointer as the Tribe extended their lead to 48-36 with 12:15 to play.

The Tribe shot 50 percent from the 3-point line (7 of 14).

Rusthoven had 12 points.

Drexel's Gerald Colds hit seven 3-pointers and had 22 points, Chris Fouch had 13 and Samme Givens had 11.
