Wichita State found the shooting touch it lacked in the first half and pulled away from Drake 82-63 Tuesday night.

Wichita State (12-2, 3-0 Missouri Valley) made 7 of 11 3-pointers in the second half after making 3 of 12 in the first half. J.T. Durley scored 13 points and four others were in double figures for the Shockers.

Freshman Rayvonte Rice scored 17 for Drake (6-8, 1-2).

Rice scored nine points in the first 3 1/2 minutes of the second half, including a game-tying 3-pointer. But the Shockers responded with Gabe Blair's lay-in, Toure Murry's 3-pointer and David Kyles' 3-pointer in a 61-second span to lead 50-41 with 14:53 remaining. Drake was never closer than five again.
