Stetson basketball coach Derek Waugh will step down after the season and take another position within the school's athletic department.
The Atlantic Sun Conference school made the announcement Saturday.
The Hatters (7-21, 5-12) have lost 10 of their last 11 games and are on course to miss the A-Sun tourney for the second straight season.
The coach has one year remaining on a contract extension that was signed in the spring of 2009, and he'll complete the time as an assistant athletics director.

Waugh is in his 11th season at Stetson and has a career record of 119-190.
