Watch Mercer guard pull off madness of a dunk

The Mercer Bears gave us one of the most unforgettable moments of the last college basketball season, upsetting Duke in the NCAA tournament, beating the No. 3 seed Blue Devils as a No. 14 seed.
Now, thanks to springy junior guard Ike Nwamu, Mercer has provided another highlight as the nation's teams kicked off the beginning of official practices with various "madness" events on Friday night.
In Mercer's dunking exhibition, Nwamu, at 6-foot-5, jumped over 6-1 teammate Jestin Lewis for a slam. That's an athletic move, but we've seen that before. However, Nwamu added his own twist.
Lewis held the ball over his head, and Nwamu grabbed the ball on the way up, passed it between his legs and then slammed it home.
Nwamu was a reserve last season and averaged about 8 points, including 11 in the upset of Duke. Whether or not he'll be a starter this season, Nwamu already won over the crowd at Mercer Madness.
