C.J. Wilcox scored nine of his career-high 25 points during a crucial stretch late in the second half, Tony Wroten added 24 and Washington held off Seattle's second-half rally for a 91-83 win over the Redhawks on Tuesday night.

Washington led by 14 in the opening stages of the second half only to see Seattle charge back and pull even at 76 with 4:53 left. Twice the Redhawks missed shots around the basket that could have given them the lead. Instead, it was Wilcox who came up big, scoring nine consecutive points for the Huskies, including a pair of big 3-pointers to stem the Seattle rally.

Washington (10-6) did plenty to let the Redhawks hang around. The Huskies were just 37 of 59 at the free-throw line and Seattle shot nearly 50 percent in the second half.

Aaron Broussard led Seattle (3-11) with 20 points and Sterling Carter added 15.
