Wagner holds off St. Francis (Pa.) 63-58

NEW YORK (AP) Marcus Burton scored 22 points and Wagner held off St. Francis (Pa.) 63-58 on Thursday night.
After a tightly contested second half, Earl Brown's three-point play with 4:04 left put St. Francis up by one, 54-53. But Wagner (6-12, 4-3 Northeast) got a pair of 3-pointers by Burton to lead 61-56 with 1:12 left.
Ronnie Drinnon's layup with 52 seconds left pulled St. Francis within three, but Brown missed a 3-point attempt with five seconds remaining and Wagner held on.
Burton was 7 of 12 from the floor, including 4 of 7 beyond the arc. Corey Henson added 18 points for the Seahawks. His layup with 51 seconds left in the first half gave Wagner a 26-24 lead at the break.

St. Francis (10-8, 4-3) was led by Ollie Jackson with 11 points.
