Josh Thompson had 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead Wagner to an 80-65 victory over Albany (N.Y). on Thursday night.

Tyler Murray added 17 points for the Seahawks (5-7), who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Albany (7-8), which has lost two straight games, led by 10 in the first half and 39-33 at halftime.

Wagner began the second half with a 13-3 run and took a 41-40 lead on Orlando Parker's free throw with 17:24 to play. Murray's 3-pointer gave the Seahawks a 46-42 advantage with 16:20 left.

Thompson extended Wagner's lead to 61-50 with a 3-pointer with 10:10 to play.

The Seahawks shot 50 percent from the field (15 of 30) in the second half. The Great Danes shot just 20.8 percent from the field (5 of 24) in the second half.

Mike Black scored 18 points, Luke Devlin added 16 and Tim Ambrose added 15 for Albany.
