Matt Lander scored 21 points and Western Illinois beat Centenary 57-51 Saturday.
Lander finished with four assists and was 12-of-14 from the free-throw line for the Leathernecks (4-4, 1-1 Summit). David Gebru added 13 points and five rebounds, and Jelani Johnson had seven points and eight rebounds for Western Illinois.
Jack Houpt also seven points and five rebounds for the Leathernecks.
Roman Tubner led Centenary (0-9, 0-2) with 10 points. Travis Sims added eight points and Maxx Nakwaasah had eight rebounds for the Gents.
