Austin Kenon scored 26 points, and Stan Okoye had 21 points and 14 rebounds as Virginia Military Institute rolled up a 114-82 victory over Longwood on Saturday.

The Keydets (7-4), who came in with the No. 2-ranked offense in Division I (95.1 points per game) shot 71 percent (22 for 31) in the second half after leading 55-41 at halftime.

Kenon made 7 of 13 shots from 3-point range, including 5 of 9 in the first half, in which he finished with 17 points.

The Keydets, who rank second nationally in 3-pointers made with 11 per game, made 15 of 34 behind the arc against the Lancers (3-7).

Antwan Carter had 20 points and 11 rebounds and Aaron Mitchell 20 points and nine rebounds for Longwood.

The victory was the 76th for coach Duggar Baucom in five seasons at VMI, breaking a tie with Charlie Schmaus for third on the Keydets' all-time list.
