Brandon Wood scored 35 points and Cory Johnson added 33 as Valparaiso edged Oakland 103-102 to win the Lou Henson Award Holiday Tournament on Tuesday night.

Michael Rogers added 10 points for the Crusaders (9-4), who overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half and held off a late charge by the Golden Grizzlies (7-7).
