Randy Culpepper scored 20 points to lead UTEP to a 74-47 rout of Memphis on Saturday in the Miners' first game since coach Tim Floyd was reprimanded by Conference USA for an on-court outburst.

John Bohannon added 15 points and Jeremy Williams 14, including three 3-pointers, as the Miners (21-8, 9-5) ran their home record to 16-2.

Will Barton's 10 points paced the Tigers (21-8, 9-5), who had won five of six but were outshot 49.1 percent to 33.3 percent and made only 1 of 18 from 3-point range.

UTEP led 33-20 at halftime, and then Isaac Gordon scored five points during a 9-0 run that turned a 45-34 advantage into a 54-34 lead with 7:16 to go.

Floyd was reprimanded by conference Commissioner Britton Banowsky after his outburst got him ejected and then escorted off the court by police in a loss Wednesday night at East Carolina.
