Jeremy Williams scored 14 points and Randy Culpepper added 12 to lead UTEP to a 66-43 victory over Rice on Saturday night.
Christian Polk added 11 points and Julyan Stone 10 rebounds for the Miners (15-4, 3-1 Conference USA), who won their 12th straight home game.
David Chadwick, with 10 points, was the only player to score in double figures for the Owls (8-10, 0-4), which shot 36.7 percent (18 of 49) from the floor.
UTEP scored 22 points off of 16 Rice turnovers.
