Utah Valley defeats New Jersey Tech 71-58

Geddes Robinson scored 13 points and Ben Aird added 10 points and 12 rebounds as Utah Valley took over first place in the Great West Conference with a 71-58 victory over New Jersey Tech on Saturday night.
Justin Baker scored 12 points and Holton Hunsaker 11 for the Wolverines (12-9, 4-1), who have won six of their last seven.
Chris Flores scored 24 points and made six 3-pointers for the Highlanders (7-12, 3-1).
Utah Valley never trailed but led by just two points until Shawn Deadwiler's 3-pointer began a 14-1 second-half run that gave the Wolverines a 65-50 lead with 3:19 remaining. Eight free throws, six by Hunsaker, fueled the surge.

Isaiah Wilkerson had 13 points and Jheryl Wilson 11 for New Jersey Tech.
