Preston Medlin scored 22 points and Kyisean Reed added 20 points and a game-high nine rebounds as Utah State topped Louisiana Tech 77-63 Thursday night.

Seventeen of Reed's points came in the second half for the Aggies (13-12, 5-5 Western Athletic). The visiting Bulldogs (11-13, 3-6) were led by Brandon Gibson and Raheem Apppleby, who each scored 15.

The Bulldogs were within striking distance of the Aggies early in the second half at 49-43 when Utah State went on a 16-6 run.

Utah State led by as many as 16 before the Bulldogs worked it back to 69-63 with 2:05 to play. The Aggies had two consecutive turnovers and Gibson nailed a 3-pointer.

But Medlin would score four of Utah State's eight points in the final two minutes to seal the win.
