Preston Medlin scored 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting and had a team-high six assists to lead Utah State past Utah Valley 63-54 Tuesday night.

Kyisean Reed also scored 11 and Danny Berger added 10 points for the Aggies (4-4)

The Wolverines (5-5) were led by Isiah Williams with 16 points on 5-of-15 shooting. Kevin Woods scored a season-high 10 points.

The Aggies led by as many as 12 early in the second half before Utah Valley came within 45-42 on consecutive layups by Geddes Robinson with 11:26 to play. With Williams on the bench, USU employed a zone which slowed the Wolverines and helped the Aggies add to the lead. Berger scored twice in a one-minute stretch to put the game out of reach.

Utah State hit four free throws in the last minute to clinch the win.
