Preston Medlin scored 26 points and Brockeith Pane had 20 points and 10 assists to lead Utah State past Oakland 105-81 in the semifinals of the CollegeInsider.com tournament.
Morgan Grim added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Aggies (21-15), while Danny Berger had 17. It was Medlin's 30th double-figure game for Utah State this season.
Utah State will play Mercer for the title on Wednesday night.
The Grizzlies (20-16) were led by Reggie Hamilton's 23 points and Travis Bader scored 22. Corey Petros had 10 rebounds.
The Aggies shot 70 percent from the field in the first half and 64 percent for the game. The Aggies also shot 75 percent, 12 of 16, from 3-point range in the game, well above their 36 percent average on the season.
Hamilton came into the game as the nation's leading scorer at 26.3 points per game, but made 6 of 21 attempts from the field, four from beyond the 3-point line. Sophomore Bader was nine of 15 from the field, with 12 points coming from the 3-point line.
Oakland shot 36.6 percent from the field and had two players foul out.
The semifinal shootout was the first 100-point game against a Division I opponent for coach Stew Morrill, now in his 14th year at Utah State.
