Marcus Jordan scored 16 of his 28 points in the first half and Central Florida routed West Florida 115-61 on Friday night in both teams' season opener.

Jordan, son of NBA legend and Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, made his first four shots of the game from 3-point range.

The 115 points were the most the Knights have scored since the 1992-93 season. It was the 20th highest total in school history. UCF shot 66.7 percent, its fourth-best shooting night in school history.

Keith Clanton, who like Jordan was a Conference USA All-Freshman pick last season, hit his first nine shots and finished with 24 points for the Knights.
