Ovie Soko scored 17 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds in Alabama-Birmingham's 92-58 rout of Alabama A&M on Saturday.

Cameron Moore had 16 points, Quincy Taylor recorded 15, Jordan Swing added 13 and K.C. Whitaker chipped in with 11 for the Blazers.

UAB (5-7) shot a season-high 62.5 percent (30 of 48) from the field and 61.1 (11 of 18) from 3-point range. The Blazers also knocked down 77.8 percent (21 of 27) of their free throws.

Every Blazer, except Taylor, recorded at least one rebound as UAB outrebounded Alabama A&M 43-25. Taylor made up for the lack of rebounds by shooting 100 percent from the field (6 of 6) including three 3-pointers.

Jeremy Crutcher scored 14 points and Casey Canty added 13 for Alabama A&M (2-7). No other Bulldog player scored over five points.

UAB has won four of their last five after starting the season 1-6.
