Tulsa 62, Missouri St. 50

Justin Hurtt scored 10 consecutive points in the final 3:40 and 22 overall as Tulsa held off Missouri State 62-50 on Friday night.
Hurtt, a senior guard, scored on a drive, 3-pointer, two free throws, another drive and two more free throws, giving Tulsa (2-1) a 10-point lead with 25 seconds remaining.
Missouri State (2-2) clawed back from a 28-17 halftime deficit to get within 49-46 with 4:41 to play before Hurtt went on his tear.
Jordan Clarkson had 13 points for the Hurricane, but Steven Idlet was held to eight points in 19 foul-plagued minutes.
Jermaine Mallett led Missouri State with 12 points while Adam Leonard added 11 and Will Creekmore 10. Leading scorer Kyle Weems, averaging 17.3 points a game, was held to six.
The Bears shot just 28.3 percent (17 for 60) from the floor.
