Towson downs Loyola (Md) 65-54

BALTIMORE, Md. (AP) Walter Foster scored 10 points, grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds and blocked four shots, and Towson beat Loyola (Md.) 65-54 on Tuesday night to win its sixth straight.

Byron Hawkins added 15 points, William Adala Moto scored 13, Eddie Keith II had 12, and Mike Morsell 11 for the Tigers (7-3) who never trailed.

Towson shot just 38 percent from the field, but made 23 of 34 free throws, led by Keith who was 8 of 11 from the line, tying a career high.

Trailing 30-24 at halftime, Loyola gained on a 9-2 run in which Andre Walker hit a 3-pointer to close within 33-31. But Towson pulled away 50-40 with 9:04 left on a layup by Adala Moto.

Jarred Jones and Eric Laster each scored 11 points for the Greyhounds (1-8) and Laster grabbed 10 rebounds.
