Toledo 75, Valparaiso 72

Reese Holliday scored six of his 16 points in overtime to lead Toledo over Valparaiso 74-72 on Saturday night for the Rockets' first win of the season.
Holliday scored the first four points of overtime, on a tip-in and two free throws, putting Toledo (1-9) up 67-63.
The Crusaders (6-4) cut it to one twice but couldn't overcome the Rockets, who went 8 of 12 from the free-throw line in the extra period. After Valparaiso brought it to 73-72 with 16 seconds left, Holliday sealed it on two free throws with 14 seconds remaining.
It was the first win for Tod Kowalczyk as the Rockets' coach.
Hayden Humes had 10 points and 14 rebounds and Malcolm Griffin had 14 points for Toledo. Holliday also had 10 rebounds.
Cory Johnson scored 25 for the Crusaders. Brandon Wood, who sent it into overtime on a steal and a layup, added 17 for Valparaiso.
