Kevin Galloway recorded his first career triple-double to lead Texas Southern past Grambling State 66-41 on Monday night.
Galloway finished with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, and Travele Jones added 17 points for Texas Southern (7-9, 5-0 Southwestern Athletic Conference), which has won five straight.
Derron Hobbs had 10 points to lead Grambling State (3-15, 1-5), which shot just 34 percent and committed 21 turnovers. Peter Roberson had 12 rebounds.
Texas State took a 26-19 advantage into halftime, then pulled away in the second half when it shot 50 percent.
