Texas-San Antonio 97, Northwestern St. 96

Jeromie Hill made the game-winning dunk with two seconds left to lift Texas-San Antonio to a 97-96 comeback win over Northwestern State in the first round of the Southland Conference tournament on Wednesday.
Hill finished with 25 points while Devin Gibson led with 28 as the seventh-seeded Roadrunners (17-13) advanced to Thursday's semifinals.
Gibson drove into the lane on UTSA's final possession and fed the ball inside to Hill, who was uncovered on the right side of the goal for the dunk.
UTSA closed on a 23-11 run and scored on 14 of its last 15 possessions.
The No. 2 seed Demons (18-14) tied the Southland tournament's 3-point record with 14.
Will Pratt scored 26 points, Louis Ellis 16 and Devon Baker 15 for the Demons.
Melvin Johnson III added 18 points for UTSA, who will face either Sam Houston State or Stephen F. Austin in the semifinals.
