Devin Gibson scored 17 points and Jeromie Hill added 15 points as UTSA beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 71-62 on Wednesday night.
The Roadrunners (14-12, 7-6 Southland) roared to a 16-2 lead and kept the double-digit advantage for the rest of the first half. It was 34-18 at halftime, matching UTSA's largest lead of the first 20 minutes.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi used an 11-2 run to get as close as 43-38 with 11:55 remaining, but UTSA scored the next 10 points to put the game out of reach.
The Roadrunners scored 32 points off 25 Islander turnovers.

Justin Reynolds led the Islanders (8-20, 3-10) with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Demond Watt added 15 points.
