CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Torrance Rowe poured in 27 points and Tennessee Tech won its fourth-straight game to start its Ohio Valley Conference season with a 72-66 win over Austin Peay on Saturday night.

The teams were tied at 59-59 with 4:17 left after Tre Ivory hit the second of two free throws to pull Austin Peay even. Mason Ramsey got to the basket for a layup to push the Golden Eagles (12-5, 4-0) back into the lead for good seconds later.

Rowe converted a layup with 1:25 remaining, and Aleksa Jugovic knocked down a 3-pointer for the final margin with 13 seconds left.

The victory follows a 71-65 win at Murray State on Jan. 7, snapping the Racers' 17-game conference win streak and 17-game home winning streak, and also denied coach David Loos his 400th win at Austin Peay.
