Khalif Walker hit a late go-ahead 3-pointer and then two free throws in the waning seconds to give Temple a 66-63 victory over Delaware Friday night.

The Owls (9-3) had to withstand a last-gasp 3-pointer by Devon Saddler, who led Delaware (5-6) with 18 points but missed a 3-pointer with 1 second left that would've forced overtime.

Saddler scored a game-high 18 points and had five rebounds, but only one other Blue Hen was in double figures. Kelvin McNeil came off the bench to score 13 points. But Kyle Anderson's 3-ball gave Delaware a 63-61 lead with 2:01 to play. The Blue Hens didn't score again.

Walker hit a 3-pointer with 35 seconds to play to give Temple a 64-63 lead. After Anderson missed a 3-point attempt with 12 seconds left, Walker hit two late foul shots for a 3-point cushion. Then Saddler missed and the horn sounded.
