FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) Chris Washburn made a long jumper with 1:12 left and TCU survived four missed free throws after that to beat Texas 58-57 Saturday night, the Horned Frogs' first victory in the series since 1995.

Washburn's feet were straddling the 3-point line when he made the final basket of the game, giving TCU (9-6, 1-2 Big 12) its first lead since the opening minute of the second half.

Brandon Parrish missed two free throws with 43 seconds left after being fouled on a rebound. The Longhorns missed another shot before Parrish was fouled again and missed twice more with 19 seconds left.

Texas (9-6, 1-2) had one more possession, but Isaiah Taylor missed a shot and Connor Lammert couldn't convert a follow-up shot after his 11th rebound.
