Sykes leads Green Bay past Detroit 62-52

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Keifer Sykes scored 22 points and Greg Mays added 11 points and tied a career-high with 10 rebounds to help Green Bay defeat Detroit 62-52 Sunday for its 12th straight win.

Carlton Brundidge scored to give Detroit a 50-47 lead with 8:57 remaining. Green Bay scored seven unanswered points before Matthew Grant made both free throws to pull Detroit within 54-52 with 6:19 to play. But Detroit did not score again, missing six shots and committing five turnovers with just under 6 minutes to play.

Sykes was 5 of 17 from the field and made 11 of 12 free throw attempts. Carrington Love added 10 points for Green Bay (17-3, 7-0 Horizon League).

Evan Bruinsma scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Detroit (9-13, 2-5). Brundidge added 11 points and six rebounds for the Titans.
