Stewart, Dove lead UT Martin past Mt St Joseph's 92-71

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Sophomore Parker Stewart hit six 3-pointers and scored 28 points and Quinton Dove added a double-double to lead Tennessee-Martin to a 92-72 victory over Division III-member Mount Saint Joseph's on Sunday.

Stewart hit 10 of 17 shots from the floor, including 6 of 11 from 3-point range, for the Skyhawks (4-7). Dove had 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting and 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Derek Hawthorne Jr. pitched in with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists.

UT Martin shot 57% from the floor (37 of 65) and 43% from 3-point range (9 of 21). The Skyhawks won the rebound battle 43-26.

Devin Young paced the Lions with 25 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Reece Thomson and reserve Avery Paddock added 11 points apiece, while Tanner Clos scored 10. MSJ shot 47% overall (31 of 66), 33% from distance (8 of 24) and made just 2 of 6 free throws.
