Southeastern Louisiana dominates Central Arkansas 83-58

HAMMOND, La. (AP) Devonte Upson made all eight of his field goal attempts to total 17 points as Southeastern Louisiana dominated Central Arkansas 83-58 in Southland Conference play on Tuesday night.

Onochie Ochie had 12 points, Justin Lobell made 3 of 6 from long range for 11 points and Cedric Jenkins and Jimmie Duplessis had 10 apiece for Southeastern Louisiana (7-16, 4-6).

Central Arkansas, which beat New Orleans 70-67 Saturday night for its first win of the season, could not stay with the Lions as Southeastern jumped out to a 48-25 halftime advantage and coasted home.

Southeastern Louisiana made 35 of 55 field goal attempts (63.6 percent), hitting 9 of 19 treys. The Lions scored 36 points in the paint and made 35 points off turnovers.

Jordan Howard made 4 of 7 from beyond the arc for 16 points, Mathieu Kamba had 11 and Albert Christensson chipped in 10 for Central Arkansas (1-20, 1-9).
