Dominique Jones scored six of his 28 points in overtime and South Florida held off Seton Hall 76-74 Thursday night to win consecutive Big East games for the first time in school history.

Chris Howard put the Bulls (13-7, 3-5) ahead for good with a driving layup with 38 seconds remaining in the extra period.

Herb Pope made one of two free throws to trim Seton Hall's deficit to 75-74 with 7.1 seconds left. The Pirates (12-7, 3-5) wasted another opportunity to tie when they turned the ball over on their last possession.

Following up on a 46-point performance that keyed an overtime win at Providence, Jones made 9 of 16 shots from the field and went 10 of 11 from the foul lane. Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell also scored 28, but did not score in the overtime period.
