Siena downs Niagara 66-62

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Marquis Wright scored four points inside 23 seconds remaining as Siena downed Niagara 66-62 in a closely played matchup on Thursday night.

Rob Poole matched his season scoring average with 15 points while Wright and Evan Hymes both added 12 points for Siena (10-12, 6-5, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Antoine Mason, the nation's leading scorer at 27.4 ppg, hit a jumper with 1 minute left to put Niagara up 61-59. Hymes responded for the Saints with a 3-pointer and following a Wesley Myers miss by Niagara, Wright landed a free throw and scored on a layup and another free throw in the final stretch, putting the game out of reach with 10 seconds left.

Niagara (6-16, 3-8) was led in scoring by Marcus Ware and Mason, both with 18 points. Rayvon Harris added 11 points and seven rebounds.
