Patrik Auda scored a career-high 18 points to lead hot-shooting Seton Hall over Dayton 69-64 on Wednesday night.

Auda was 7 of 10 from the field and the Pirates (10-1) finished shooting 54 percent (27 of 50). Seton Hall was nearly as good from long range, hitting 8 of 16 3-pointers.

The Pirates were able to get the open shots, thanks in part to 19 assists. Jordan Theodore, who finished with 18 points, dished out eight assists. Herb Pope had 14 points and Aaron Cosby 13 for Seton hall, which led 34-31 at halftime.

The Pirates opened the second half on a 14-7 run. Auda's 3 capped the spurt, 48-38, with 14:50 left.

Dayton came back to tie it at 58-58 with 6:12 on Josh Parker's free throws. Seton Hall then scored seven straight to pull away with 2:15 remaining.

Chris Johnson had 16 points for the Flyers (8-3).
