Roosevelt Johnson had 18 points to lead five double-figure scorers as Southeastern Louisiana crushed Champion Baptist College, a NAIA school, 99-59 on Tuesday night.

Daron Populist added 14 points and Quin Cooper had 13 while both Elgin Bailey and Jeremy Campbell chipped in 10 apiece for the Lions (5-8). Jan Petrovcic pulled down 13 boards and DeShawn Patterson dished out 12 assists to fill out a stellar stat sheet for Southeastern Louisiana in the win.

Populist knocked down 4 of 6 from long range, as the Lions hit 7 of 13. The NAIA Tigers connected on just 6 of 30 3-point attempts.

Champion Baptist was as close as four points, 20-16, to the Lions in the first half before a Populist 3 sparked a 26-3 run for Southeastern Louisiana to put the game out of reach.

Brandon Likins led the Tigers (6-14) with 30 points.
