Torrey Craig scored on a put-back just before the buzzer to give South Carolina-Upstate a 79-78 win over Belmont Saturday.

Craig's jumper ended a 7-2 run in the final 2:45 started by Ricardo Glenn's steal. The Spartans' Jodd Maxey then got the ball from his teammate and dunked it home to begin SC-Upstate's spurt. Kerron Johnson's layup made it a four-point game, 78-74, for the Bruins.

However, Belmont wouldn't score the rest of the way, as Craig made a 3 with 1:33 left before his winning shot.

SC-Upstate trailed 43-27 at halftime and shot 60.6 percent in the second half (20 of 33).
