San Francisco 68, Santa Clara 62

Rashad Green scored a game-high 18 points Saturday night, leading San Francisco to a 68-62 victory over Santa Clara as the Dons took sole possession of second place in the West Coast Conference.
The Dons (12-11, 6-2) had 14 points from Perris Blackwell, 13 points from Michael Williams and 13 points and nine rebounds from Angelo Caloiaro.
Evan Roquemore led Santa Clara (15-10, 5-3) with 16 points. Kevin Foster, who entered the game averaging a league-leading 19.2 points per game, scored 14 points on a frigid shooting night. He made just 4 of 18 field goals and was 0 for 10 from 3-point range.
A Green lay-in gave USF its first double-digit lead at 54-43. After Santa Clara's Troy Payne scored inside, Caloiaro had seven straight points, jumping the Dons' lead to 61-45 with 6:55 left.
