San Diego trounces New Orleans 85-60

SAN DIEGO (AP) Johnny Dee scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and San Diego trounced New Orleans 85-60 on Saturday.

San Diego (6-5) shot 53 percent from the floor and went 9 of 20 (45 percent) from beyond the arc. Thomas Jacobs was 5 of 7 for 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Chris Anderson had nine points and six assists. The Toreros outrebounded New Orleans 38-24.

New Orleans (2-4) was paced by Kevin Hill's 17 points and seven boards. The Privateers were just 2 of 10 on 3-pointers.

The Toreros led by three in the first half before 3-pointers by Dee, Anderson and Cameron Neubauer stretched the advantage to 13 and San Diego led at intermission 48-35.

New Orleans managed just two points in the first 5:25 of the second half and never mounted a threat.
