San Diego 70, Pepperdine 57

Christopher Anderson had 15 points and seven assists to pace San Diego to a 70-57 victory over Pepperdine on Thursday night.
Cameron Miles added 14 points and Chris Manresa 12 for the Toreros (10-14, 5-7 West Coast), who shot 51 percent (25 of 49) in sweeping the season series.
Corbin Moore had 17 points and 11 rebounds to notch his seventh double-double for the Waves (8-16, 2-11). Joshua Lowery scored 10 points for Pepperdine, which has lost three straight and 11 of 12.
The Waves pulled within 34-30 early in the second half after baskets by Moore and Taylor Darby.
But the Toreros responded with a three-point play by Anderson and a layup by Ken Rancifer for a 39-30 lead with 16:27 left. Pepperdine got no closer than seven after that.
San Diego held a 37-27 rebounding advantage.
The Toreros won the first matchup 65-56 on Jan. 26.
