BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) Darius Jones-Gibson scored 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, both career-highs, to help lead Samford to a 94-79 win over NAIA Auburn-Montgomery on Monday night.

Christen Cunningham added 18 points and seven assists and Matt Rose had 12 points and five boards for the Bulldogs, who led by just one (35-34) at the break but scored 59 points in the second half to put the game away.

Samford opened the second stanza on a 14-4 run, capped by a Jones-Gibson layup, which gave the Bulldogs their first double digit lead with 16:46 left. Two Khalid Banks free throws for Auburn-Montgomery cut the lead back to six two minutes later, but that was as close as the Senators got the rest of the night.

Reagan Eubanks finished with 26 points to lead Auburn-Montgomery. Phillip Rankin added 20 points and seven boards.
