Sacramento State remains unbeaten at home with 73-59 win

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Mikh McKinney scored 21 points and Sacramento State pulled way in the final three minutes for a 73-59 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Thursday night.

Alex Tiffin added 15 points and Cody Demps 14 for the Hornets (5-3), who are unbeaten at home with four victories.

Moses Morgan scored 15 points for the Titans (3-7), who have lost all six of their road games. Fullerton outshot Sacramento from the field, but made only 9 of 15 free-throw shots compared to 18 of 19 for the Hornets

Tiffin scored 10 of the Hornets' final 14 points of the first half to lead 33-24. The Titans opened the second half on a 16-6 run, including three 3-pointers by Morgan, to briefly lead 40-39 before Demps scored consecutive baskets.

Morgan scored to get Fullerton within three, 62-59, before Sacramento scored the game's final 11 points over the last three minutes.
