Robert Morris defeats Fairleigh Dickinson 69-64

TEANECK, N.J. (AP) Karvel Anderson scored 22 points as Robert Morris overcame a 15-point second-half deficit to defeat Fairleigh Dickinson 69-64 on Thursday, keeping its three-game lead in the Northeast Conference.

Robert Morris (19-11, 14-1) trailed 62-47 with 8:34 left in the game after a Fairleigh Dickinson (10-19, 6-9 Northeast) 15-1 run. Anthony Myers-Pate responded with a 3-pointer, which primed a 22-2 run by Robert Morris to finish the game, including hitting 10 of its last 11 free throw attempts.

Lucky Jones had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Robert Morris. Myers-Pate finished with 12.

Fairleigh Dickinson trailed 26-24 after Anderson's trey and a free throw by Aaron Tate for Robert Morris with 5:14 minutes left in the first half. But the Knights closed the half on a 15-4 run - including two 3-pointers by Matt McDonald - to lead 39-30 at the break.

Scooter Gillette led FDU with 14 points.
