Karon Abraham scored 20 points and Robert Morris used advantages in rebounding and free-throw shooting to defeat St. Francis (Pa.) 78-68 on Wednesday night.

The Colonials (11-13, 7-6 Northeast Conference) outrebounded St. Francis 39-19. They made 25 of 33 free throws, thanks to the Red Flash committing 10 more fouls. St. Francis (7-17, 5-8) attempted only 13 free throws, made eight and lost its fourth straight.

Velton Jones and Lijah Thompson each had 16 points for Robert Morris, which will play the Red Flash again Saturday, but at St. Francis.

Umar Shannon had 23 points and Will Felder 16 to lead the Red Flash, who rallied from 11 down early in the second half for a brief one-point lead at 59-58 with 9:35 left. The Colonials, however, answered immediately with 13 straight points to lead 71-59 with 5:54 left and weren't threatened again.
