Brandon Penn scored 24 points, including knocking down 6 of 10 shots from beyond the arc, to lead Rider past Marist in an easy 99-86 win on Friday night.

Novar Gadson added 19 points, Anthony Myles and Daniel Stewart had 14 apiece and Jonathon Thompson chipped in 11 points and 11 assists for the Broncs (5-11, 2-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Rider has now won four of its last five in the wake of a six-game losing streak that spanned portions of November and December.

Rider avenged a 95-75 loss at Marist on Dec. 4, and has now won nine of the last 10 meetings between the teams.

Penn's 3-point shooting set the tone right away, as his game-opening long ball gave Rider a lead it held the entire way. The Broncs led 45-24 at halftime.
