Darien Brothers scored 21 points and Richmond led 46-28 at halftime in a 102-58 rout of Fordham Wednesday night in Atlantic 10 Conference play.

For the Rams (8-11, 1-5), coming off a 95-51 loss to St. Bonaventure, it was their second consecutive 44-point defeat.

Richmond (12-9, 3-3) took that 18-point halftime lead as Darien Brothers scored 12 points and Derrick Williams and Cedrick Lindsey 10 apiece.

Midway through the second half, the Spiders increased their lead to 73-46. The damage was already done in the first half, when Fordham was 1 for 5 on 3-pointers while Richmond hit seven treys. The Rams were 11 for 28 from the field. Richmond shot 16 for 33 from the floor.

Chris Gaston led Fordham with a 22-point, 11-rebound double-double. Kendall Anthony scored 17 points for Richmond and Josh Duinker 11. Williams finished with 16 points and Lindsey added 10.
