Report: Wright back by NCAA tourney

Georgetown expects to have point guard Chris Wright back by the start of the NCAA tournament after recent hand surgery, a person with knowledge of the situation said.
Wright had surgery Thursday on a broken bone in his nonshooting hand. He broke his left hand in a loss to Cincinnati on Wednesday.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not announced details.
Coach John Thompson III said the team does not have an ''exact timetable,'' but expects to have Wright back before the end of the season. The NCAA tournament starts March 15.
Wright was hurt when he lost possession of the ball and committed a foul as he reached for it. He is averaging 13.1 points for the 11th-ranked Hoyas.
Wright had been playing especially well recently, averaging 21.7 points and shooting 50 percent from the field his last three games.
