Saint Louis center Willie Reed, suspended last season after a campus incident, has withdrawn from school.

School spokesman Brian Kunderman said Saturday that the 6-foot-9 Reed stopped attending classes a few weeks ago, returned his textbooks and moved out of his residence hall the last week of March. The school ruled Reed had administratively withdrawn from classes on April 5 and said it would have no additional comment.

Reed averaged 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds as a sophomore in 2009-10 and was an honorable mention All-Atlantic 10 selection.

Reed was among four players involved in an incident in a campus apartment on May 1. Point guard Kwamain Mitchell was readmitted to the school in January.
