Purdue defeats UNC Wilmington 66-40

Terone Johnson scored 19 points, including three 3-pointers, to help Purdue beat UNC Wilmington 66-40 on Wednesday night.
DJ Byrd and Travis Carroll each scored 10 points for the Boilermakers, who snapped a two-game skid.
Keith Rendleman had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Seahawks (1-3), who have lost three straight.
Terone Johnson, who scored 10 points in the first half, hit a 3-pointer at the end of the half to give Purdue a 29-28 lead at halftime.

The Boilermakers (2-3), who held the Seahawks to just 12 points in the second half, went on an 18-3 run to start the second and took a 42-30 lead capped off with a 3-pointer by Terone Johnson with 9:59 left to play.
