Princeton 69, Lafayette 54

Ian Hummer scored 23 points to lead Princeton over Lafayette 69-54 on Wednesday night.
After a poor-shooting first half, in which the Tigers (3-5) made just 36.7 percent from the field (11 of 30), they turned it on in the second half. Princeton made 68 percent from the field (17 of 25), and outscored the Leopards 43-27 in the final 20 minutes.
Douglas Davis added 15 points and Denton Koon 13 for the Tigers, who scored 20 points off 15 turnovers.
Princeton shot 50.9 percent from the field (28 of 55), slightly better than the Leopards' 42.9 percent shooting (21 of 49). However, the Tigers were 8 of 14 from the free-throw line, making as many foul shots as the Leopards attempted (6 of 8).
T.J. Bray added six assists for Princeton, who bested Lafayette 18-8 in the category.
Ryan Willen led Lafayette (3-4) with 16 points.
