Presbyterian 63, Liberty 56

Al'Lonzo Coleman scored 18 points and Presbyterian defeated Liberty 63-56 on Monday night.
Coleman, the Big South Co-Player of the Week, averaged 19.5 points in the Blue Hose's previous four games. Presbyterian won three straight before falling to Virginia Military Institute 78-70 on Saturday.
Coleman was helped against the Flames by Eric Washington's 14 points and eight assists and Josh Johnson's 11 points.
Presbyterian trailed 54-53 before it grabbed three straight offensive rebounds, including two by Coleman, who tipped in the last one to put the Blue Hose up for good, 55-54 with 2:22 remaining.
Presbyterian (8-6, 2-2) dished out 15 assists, while turning it over only four times.
David Minaya led the Flames (5-11, 0-4) with 15 points and Jesse Sanders had 10 points and 12 rebounds. Tavares Speaks added 12 points for Liberty, which started conference play with four straight losses for the first time since 1998-99.
