Darnell Hugee had 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead Prairie View A&M to an 82-60 victory against road-weary Alcorn State on Wednesday night.
Dorian McDaniel added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Panthers (7-6, 2-0 SWAC). Michael Griffin had 14 points and Tim Meadows 13.
Jonathan Boyd had 15 points and Brandon Rogers 14 for Alcorn State (0-15, 0-2), which has played all but one of its games on the road or at neutral sites.
